A morning summertime maternity session | Beautiful light is the inspiration behind every image we photograph, so it was really fulfilling to creatively push ourselves to capture images at a different time of day than we’re typically used to. We loved our experience with morning light so much that we plan to offer many more outdoor morning sessions to our future clients! These are truly one of our very favorite session categories to photograph because they’re all about play and snuggles! We adored capturing this darling baby’s first birthday celebration with her parents + 3 big sisters! We love one year sessions so much because they really are the ultimate milestone celebration, one that acknowledges the incredible growth that’s taken place for your little one as well as within your whole family over the last 12 months. One year sessions can be baby only but they become even more fun when parents and siblings are involved!
Trying to decide between studio or outdoors for your little one’s milestone session? There’s no right or wrong answer but we love helping clients determine what fits their family best! We often recommend our studio for sitter sessions (anywhere between 6-9 months). During this small window of time your baby is beginning to roll around, find their toes, enjoy tummy time, balance themselves while sitting and sometimes even stand with assistance.
