We love one year sessions so much because they really are the ultimate milestone celebration, one that acknowledges the incredible growth that’s taken place for your little one as well as within your whole family over the last 12 months. One year sessions can be baby only but they become even more fun when parents and siblings are involved!

We had the best time photography this beautiful family summertime session with older siblings + their puppy dog! We want to give you an amazing photo experience, capturing your family just as they are right now! Your child doesn’t have to be entering into a particular milestone for the photos to be special. Every year is special and there’s no better time than now to capture those moments.

Trying to decide between studio or outdoors for your little one’s milestone session? There’s no right or wrong answer but we love helping clients determine what fits their family best! We often recommend our studio for sitter sessions (anywhere between 6-9 months). During this small window of time your baby is beginning to roll around, find their toes, enjoy tummy time, balance themselves while sitting and sometimes even stand with assistance.

After more than 11 years photographing young families, we use our experience to find the right time to attempt a few traditional poses, but we certainly don’t expect little ones to remain still for long and we truly don’t want them to! We want your children to run, jump, be silly and free!

Family can be involved in just a few of the images or for the majority of the session – the choice is entirely up to you! Our maternity sessions keep the focus on what’s most important to you – whether that’s a gallery filled with gorgeous images of just you and your bump, or centered more around you celebrating the pregnancy with your family.
